Varvara Sen is a creative producer, cinematographer, editor and photographer based in Tallinn, Estonia. She is a Baltic Film, Media, and Arts School graduate with over 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial, film, and digital media production. While her technical background spans many fields, her primary focus is creative producing and end-to-end production management.
Currently, Varvara works at Nafta Films, the largest production company in the Baltics, operating across Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius. Having built her career from the ground up starting as a Production Assistant, she now serves as Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager, managing budgets, crews, shoot locations, equipment, casting, and other departments for a smooth production process.
Over her career, Varvara has managed fast-moving logistics and end-to-end workflows for major international campaigns. Her production team credits include commercial shoots for global brands such as Aldi, Lidl, Orange, Best Western Hotels, and Basis PH. She has also served as a Key Production Team member and Green (Sustainability) Production Officer on high-budget international projects, including the Apple TV thriller series La Décision, the German feature film DIE HELLEN TAGE, and an upcoming South Indian action feature.
Her organisational leadership is also backed by extensive technical experience across cinematography, lighting, sound design, and editing.

As a Director of Photography and technical crew member, she has worked across commercial and independent work for leading Baltic brands and organisations such as Bolt, Tele2, and PÖFF. Her DP credits feature a music video for the Eurovision band Go_A, an ETV advertisement with Märt Avandi, and festival successful short films 'Sad Inheritance' (starring Pääru Oja & Tõnu Oja), 'Eyes of the Forest' and 'Cracks'.

Her post-production background includes working as an Assistant Editor on full-length feature films like On Silver Heels, as well as YouTube formats such as the Norwegian series FISKETUR 8 SEILAND. She has also produced diverse social media content for yoga studios, kitchenware brands, and volleyball teams. Experienced in creating content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and cinemas, she understands diverse needs in diverse media.

Varvara's work is driven by a sincere belief that the best works in media not only have a personal, honest quality but a production system and crew that is built to work together. She combines creative intuition with grounded logistics, creating healthy, fun environments where ambitious visual concepts can be executed with heart and energy.
